Computer Professions on Demand (CPoD) is a collaborative effort between the Jefferson City Information Technology Coalition, Linn State Technical College, and the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce.

The program began in 1998 and has evolved from the Technology Scholars Academy (TSA) to the Business Information Technology Institute (BITI) to Computer Professions on Demand (CPoD).

This marks the 14th year of the program and the 11th year it has been held at LSTC.

CPoD has proven to be an outstanding experience for the nearly one hundred and fifty students who have participated and learned about information technology careers while gaining leadership experience.

Through the program, 20 local high school students are given the unique opportunity to explore career fields in computer technology. Selected students are given full scholarships to participate and will stay on the campus at LSTC for the program.

Meals and transportation to off-campus activities will also be provided. As a result of CPoD, we hope to showcase to students to potential career opportunities in computer technology fields while they gain valuable teaming experiences, as well as have fun and make new friends.

Students do not need computer skills to apply for CPoD.

CPoD 2012 applications are due March 31. Click here for the application materials.
